I have read a lot of Bulma and Vegeta fanfiction, and I've noticed a lot of authors use some common, almost universal, themes. I decided to get the ones I've seen out into the open. All of the ones I have listed here have been used by at least three different authors. I tend to think one makes a single idea, two makes sharing that idea with a friend, and three makes a trend. Okay, now I'm rambling. Let me show you the trends I've seen before I run out of breath.
- Bulmafox--Yamcha cheats on Bulma
- Bulmafox--Bulma cheats on Yamcha with Vegeta (surprise, surprise)
- Bulmafox--Trunks was conceived out of wedlock
- Bulmafox--Vegeta gets Bulma pregnant during their first time
- Bulmafox--Saiyan Mating Ritual (SMR--the Saiyan equivalent of marriage; includes neck biting)
- Bulmafox--The Bond (a mental and/or emotional and/or physical link; usually goes with SMR)
- Bulmafox--Vegeta will literally go insane if he loses Bulma or someone hurts her.
- Bulmafox--Vegeta is fiercely monogamous (or, Saiyans Mate for Life)
- Dana Tyler--Alternate Universe--Bulma is a slave
- Kat--The Gravity Machine exploding, always!
- Bulmafox--Vegeta somehow knows that Bulma is pregnant before Bulma knows (through some sixth sense, or ki detection, or something)
- Bulmafox--Vegeta never feels anything just halfway, whether it is love, hate or whatnot--he could literally burn himself out on his emotions' intensity.
- Bulmafox--Alternate Universe--Vegeta is disgusted by Vegetasei's harems
- Bulmafox--Vegeta is extremely jealous of any man who even dares talk to Bulma (he's jealous in the series, too)
- Bulmafox--The thin line between love and hate (the very, very thin line)
- Bulmafox--Every woman that pops up from Vegeta's past is either an ex-lover or a long-lost child (except for Japhia and Nakaruru)
- Bulmafox--Every new person stays at Capsule Corp. except Nakaruru. She stays at Chi Chi's.
- Bulmafox--Alternate Universe--Earth is destroyed and Bulma is one of the only survivors--usually goes with the Slave trend.
- Candy-Chick--Alternate Universe--Bulma and Vegeta in highschool
- Bra Briefs--In, like, almost every story in the real time-line or some around there, Bulma and Vegeta's rooms are always next to each other
- Staci--The First word that comes out of Vegeta's mouth when he directly talks or calls to Bulma for the first time in the story is "WOMAN or ONNA"
- Bulmafox--Bulma's parents conveniently leave on a business trip the first time Bulma and Vegeta--ahem! (Think the Briefs saw it coming?)
- Reef--Bulma/Vegeta's rooms have balcony's
- Reef--Nobody seems to lock
the bathroom/ bedroom doors
- Reef--Vegeta likes to sit on the roof
of capsule corp to think.
- Reef-- Vegeta has an island that he trains on when not in the gravity room
- Reef--Bulma doesn't close her blinds when she dresses.
- Bulmafox--Vegeta remembers the exact number of times he and Bulma have done It. (Really good memory.)
- Bra Briefs--Bulma always breaks up with yamcha before she and Vegeta
mm...mm.....
- No name--Yamcha ALLways thinks Vegeta takes advantage of Bulma
- Phoenix236--bulma always comes in the kitchen just when vegeta is
reading the fridge and he then bunbs his head in shock (or so ) and vegeta
always seems to know when bulma is in danger
- ashley--Alternate Universe (or no)--bulma and vegeta are both saiyans.
- Sara--Vegeta's tailspot...yea...
- Blue Eyed Blondie--vegeta always emotionaly hurts bluma before they get together example-leaves earth or leaves to forest when bulme is pregnent.
- Bulmafox--After the Buu Saga Vegeta becomes the Relationship Guru.
- Bulmafox--Vegeta complains that Bulma's cooking is poison
- Bulmafox--At least once in his life, Trunks will walk in on his parents--WHOA! (cover your eyes Trunks!)
- Princess Hannah Of Earth--Most of the B/V romances start when they notice each other in the kitchen or the dining room.
- Princess Hannah Of Earth--Vegeta creates a sort of obbsesion about Bulma where as Bulma sort of has a school girl crush on him, where she wants to have sex with him
- Yuki KIKI- Bulma is an emotional reck when she's pregnant (she's never happy that she's gonna be a mom).
- Yuki KIKI--Another is that they go from one emotional extreme to the other side of the spectrum in seconds, no in-between. One minute they hate eachother, the next, they're sorting out new 'sleeping' arangments (not that they get much actual _sleep_ mind you).
- Yuki KIKI--And yet another, almost every fic that features the coupling, is a lemon or has _some_ dirty hint or whatnot.
- Porcelain--Vegeta gets hurt and Bulma nurses him back to health
- Teen Bulma--In the beginning Bulma and Vegeta dispise each other
- Teen Bulma--Their sex scenes always lead to Trunks being born. Never bra..always trunks
- Jennifer L.--Vegeta always fighting his emotins
- christabeleve--Bulma or someone wishes to become a Saiyan or half Saiyan
- Aspen--Bulma will hide their relationship from friends
- Aspen--Goku encourages Vegeta and Chi Chi tries to yell some sense into Bulma over the phone.
- ***Aspen--Bulma is also almost always wearing something short, flimsy, four sizes too small, etc.
- Bulmafox--The period of time right after the Cell Games is the darkest moment for Bulma and Vegeta�s relationship.
- Bulmafox--Bulma thinks Vegeta will sleep with every woman he interacts with, whether he actually does or not.
- Bulmafox--Vegeta tells Bulma how Saiyan-like she is after she dumps Yamcha for good.
- Bulmafox--Yamcha is a drunk
- Bulmafox--Verbally sparring with Bulma is Vegeta�s way of flirting with her.
- Bulmafox--Trunks tries to solve his parents� problems.
- Bulmafox--Trunks takes his mom�s side when his parents get into a big fight.
- Bulmafox--Frieza is physically attracted to Vegeta
- nicholas_tse_lover_uk--Vegeta
always sees Bulma's open window as an invitation to come in.
- SaiyanGal--Bulma has a sweet scent that Vegeta can smell and is
attracted to.
- Lisa-Chan--Bulma is always so afraid to love Vegeta, or Vegeta thinks
loving Bulma is completely ridiculous and his little sexual visions
comes from him not having sex in a long time!
- spacey_lil_cowgirl--Vegeta was sexually abused by Frieza as a child. I think alot of people assume that's what happened because Friezas such a
transvestite.
- Rachael--Vegeta always thinks of Bulma like shes the sexiest thing
in the world.
- Mariemaya--Vegeta and Bulma hate eachother in the begining and that's
one of the reason Vegeta is attracted to her. Also I don't think that
Yamcha was drunk, or Vegeta and Bulma only did "it" once I think they
really love eachother
chineseskimos69--Bulma and Chi-Chi are always friends and Bulma always asks
her for advice on Vegeta
- Goten's SweetHart--Like, Bulma is always convinced that Vegeta will never ever love her back when she realizes that she loves him.
- Silver Lady--Vegeta watches Bulma giving birth to Trunks, or at least he comes later to see the baby. Honestly, I don't think Vegeta would bother himself doing it. With Bra yes, but not with Trunks.
- Silver Lady
--Trunks was born with a tail but it was cyrurgically removed(and never grew again).
- Silver Lady--When Dr. Briefs, Yamcha or anyone else discover Bulma is pregnant they automatically conclude that Vegeta raped her.
- Silver Lady--Alternate Universe: the Saiyans invade Earth and Prince Vegeta captures Bulma. Can come or not with Slave trend, but mostly is a lemon.
- Silver Lady--Re-improved Trend:Vegeta hugs and comforts Bulma from her deceptions with Yamcha. (cute, but honestly, doesn't look like him)
- Silver Lady--Only when Bulma dies (usually by a heart disease and usually after DBGT) Vegeta realizes how much she really means to him. Depressive.
- Silver Lady--Vegeta is always hassling Bulma to fix the Gravity Room (Can't he train without busting it?) or to get him food .
- Silver Lady--Vegeta is a fantastic kisser and a god in "bed", even if is his first time. While Yamcha...
- Silver Lady--Bulma calls for Vegeta/curses him as she is giving birth to Trunks.
- Silver Lady--It never has ocurried Bulma to restore her youth with the dragonballs_that works not only for fanfics as also for DBGT.
- Silver Lady--VVegeta cries in front of Bulma and/or opens his soul to her. Where is Mr. Tough Guy??
- Silver Lady--Vegeta calls Bulma his princess or his queen.
- Silver Lady--Yamcha hits/pushes/scares/grabs Bulma and Vegeta flies to her rescue. Usually, Bulma has to prevent him from killing Yamcha
- Silver Lady--Vegeta is jealous about Goku and Bulma.
- Silver Lady--Most of B/V getogethers are very dramatic. Humour is rare.
- Silver Lady--Vegeta refuses telling Bulma the three words, although his love for her is quite obvious. Very like him.
- Silver Lady--Vegeta is extremely gentle and fears to hurt Bulma when they make love. Well, thinking that his grip can smash a bone to dust...
- Silver Lady--Alternative Universe_Vegeta and Bulma are, respectivelly, a demon and an angel fighting in opposite sides of a war between Hell and Heaven.
- Silver Lady--Vegeta has a nightmare about his past and Bulma wakes him and comforts him. If they're still not together, he will cry ;But if they're already "married", he'll turn around and say it's not her business.
- Silver Lady--The two only people able to understand Vegeta are Bulma and Goku. (What about Piccolo?)
- JadeDragoness--When Bulma is the agressor ( i.e. she actively purues a sexual relationship with Vegeta) He is either totaly uninterested (mostly because of training) or he's a virgin
- Silver Lady--Yamcha proposes to marry Bulma and claim Trunks as his after Vegeta abandons her pregnant. That sounds more like Yamcha than the drunk stuff.
- Okami24--In Alternative Universe, Vegeta often calls Bulma "little one" ( Very cute)
- astromon90210--the tail is a erogenous zone
- squall_seawave--Bulma's tail (when she gets one) is blue
- Blue Tailed Princess--Bulma seems to be the only one able to control Vegeta without getting killed
